IF: Beneath
The cow is beneath the ground, in the stomach of the earth... where it's quiet, and safe.
I made this illustration as part of an exploration that you can find here :)

IF: Old Fashioned
Inspired by the Farmers Market, I decided to make this Illo.

I would like to share the breve process for his one:
First the drawing

Then one layer of pencil color (and by this moment I thought"Oh no!, I don't know if I'm going to like it")

So I applied one, 2 and 3 more layers...

... and it ended up like this :) now I like it. I try to give a few chances to my drawings before deciding. In the end, I almost always end up liking it.

IF: Acrobat

I drew this illustration while I was waiting for the bus to go to Seattle to visit family, last Friday. I did it scratching this special black paper, that reveals color once scratched :)
Improvised illustration. It reminds me of my last post about zoom out, and I guess the metaphor of being an acrobat applies to life too.

IF: Paisley

I made Paisley for Illustration Friday this week, with a drawing technique I've been trying to use for the last week. I started using a pen, so I couldn't erase and I didn't lift the pen from the paper until the drawing was done. The first time I tried this drawing I was not satisfied so I tried again! I am using this technique to get my creativity going, and I can truly feel the effects! Let me know if you've tried this before, or if you have different ways to let your creativity flow :)

Slither

"Slither" is for Illustration Friday. I couldn't post it last week since my computer was acting kinda weird. But I guess it's better late than never. Feel free to leave a comment :)

Happy Birthday to me!
This Monday was my Birthday! 26... feels closer to the 30th... anyways, I got a great gift from my parents: a gift certificate for an art supplies store!
I got new paint, some acrylics, just the basics, and I decided to try them out. This is what I came up with. Hope you like it! :)

Letting Go. Brave for Illustration Friday
I just made this Illo. I used acrylics and markers for the background. I really enjoyed making this one. Scroll down to see a little bit of the process.
